Legal Expat Consultation Desk
Legal Expat offers legal consultations open to anyone regarding immigration law issues. We offer consultations for a flat fee of CHF 300.-. Our fees include a full review of your situation and a meeting in person or by zoom.
Consultations are given by English-speaking lawyers experienced in Inheritance law and registered with the Geneva Bar Association. Our consultations typically cover the following issues:
- Information on Swiss inheritance law
- Drafting of a will
- Estate planning
- Usufruct in favor of the the surviving spouse
- Sharing of the estate
In the case of additional assistance, the activity is charged on an hourly rate basis.

Legal Expat works in collaboration with the Geneva-based law firm OA LEGAL. The lawyers of the firm assist a large number of expatriates in inheritance law proceedings, mainly in the cantons of Geneva, Vaud and Valais.
